Circling is an object created for the moments between sitting and standing and shaped from the offcuts from the textile industry. It is an unconventional seating that challenges the idea of sitting in a static posture. It’s something to lean on, talk beside, and place things on.
The project started with an interest in utilizing leftover materials to reduce textile waste within furniture factories. The textile got a new role when changing from a soft to a solid material during the process.
